This is quite a disappointment, that Guantanamo remains open and that the NDDA has ominous provisions. But to pretend for even a second that Obama wanted to be in this position is willfull ignorance. Congress would not let Obama close Guantanomo, and Congress wrote the NDDA then modified it after the initial veto threat. Torture and rendition are not American…
