Its not “astounding” to me, its depressing… A very large percentage of our population just rejects science and reason, and refuses to treat this pandemic like the war that it is. We are accountable for our own actions, and in this important test we failed. Other countries made the sacrifices we should have made, and they got way better outcomes than we did. Our decision to let the 50 different states do 50 different plans is biting us hard in arrears, and the price we have to pay is lost souls and economic ruin…
