“You want to see [Sen. Jim] DeMint, I have juice with him … I go to Washington, D.C. and want to see Jim DeMint, he’s right there for me. I want to see [Sen.] Tom Coburn, he’s right there for me. I want to see [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell, he’s there.” — Sharron Angle, doing an extremely capable impersonation of a “good old boy” Nevada back-room politician. Cliff “Big Juice” Jones would be proud.

Angle is the gift that keeps giving! All you have to do for good laughs is go read the comment section of the Vegas newspaper you are not allowed to mention by name. Whenever any of this comes out it is a laugh riot to read the excuses and deflection. These folks would defend Angle if pictures surfaced of her having lunch with Richard Speck. It seems we are in a willfull ignorance contest, and some Nevada voters are out in the lead.
From the readers’ comments attached to Ralston’s column:

Mike A –
“These folks would defend Angle if pictures surfaced of her having lunch with Richard Speck.”
“These folks would defend Angle if pictures surfaced of her giving a Scientologist massage to Richard Speck.”
Better?
From the article:
“In political circles he was known as “Big Juice” for his political influence.”
Maybe Mr. Jones was the inspiration for Ms. Angle’s contention that it’s the Lt. Governor’s job to bring jobs to Nevada, not its US Senator?
Nah. That’s too sortalogical.
