“Online poker is toast.” — Hunter Hillegas, in a Tweet of enviable pithiness, summarizing today’s Department of Justice crackdown on Internet gambling firms Full Tilt Poker, scandal-prone Absolute Poker, and PokerStars. Full Tilt and PokerStars business partners Wynn Resorts and Fertitta Interactive are probably going into a full-speed backpedal at this very moment. More on ‘Pokergeddon‘ (™ Jinx) here.

I alway wonder, who was the last person convicted of alcohol possession before prohibition was overturned. Unlucky guy. Did he sit in prison while the law he was convicted of was abrogated? Sure he did.
What can you do in China, that you can’t in the U.S.? Play poker on PokerStars …. damn those Chinese freedoms.
This country would be a better place if Barney Frank was President. He is far and away my favorite in Congress. All the crooks on Wall Street skate free while marijuana users and online poker players feel the heat from disfunctional Feds. Our POTUS is something of a Unic it seems. Time for Obama to grow a pair and get Federal law enforcement to go after the real criminals out there, not low hanging fruit.
