I can understand having the NHL game on *some* of the TVs … but on Every.Single.One? Go figure.
BTW, if you attend a “gastropub,” does that make one a “gastronaut”? (Speaking of gas: Beware the falafel burger at Pub 1842.)
I remember being in the Union Pub in the Venitian about a year and a half ago and despite some other sports action every TV was hockey. The bartender said it had something to do with the new NBC sports network — implying that there was some sort of kickback to show NHL games only or maybe it was just a Canadian invasion of out beloved homeland.
