Like him or not, Trump says what we all are thinking. Meanwhile, our elected idiots are allowing the Middle East to rape the United States with outrageous oil pricing – if this gouging continues there will be a war over oil production and pricing. Obama and his buddies better get off of their lazy azzes and get to work.
Looking at the list of countries where gas is less than $4/gallon, there’s not one (except maybe U.S. protectorate Puerto Rico) where I’d want to live — *least of all* Venezuela, where it’s 12 cents a gallon. Philosophical question: Is expensive gas “the price of freedom”? It kinda looks that way, doesn’t it?
Mr. Miller: My”thinking” is way closer to PG13 than NC17 like Mr. Trump. And do let us know what Obama could possibly to to lower the gas prices. Emerging markets in China and India for automobiles, turmoil in the Middle East, and speculation seem to be the reasons we are paying so much for gas. If you are suggesting some sort of manipulation of the market, Obama gets accused of being a socialist Marxist Leninite. It’s disengenuous to suggest laziness has anything to do with this. Americans need to stick together, not make hay IMHO.
You are correct cortez. My L.A. Times had an article this morning about Trump claiming in his Vegas speech that his Vegas tower is a resounding winner. The only possible positive I can see is the towers proximity to the Gamblers Warehouse, one of my families favorite stores. It’s the only place where you can get a pack of Silver Slipper matches for a buck. Other than that, that area of Las Vegas is not exactly uptown unless you are fond of vacant lots. The Times gave the Donald a polite jab about his bogus claim, which is better than most media these days.

Our European readers might take issue as to how outrageous U.S. gasoline prices really are:

I think those few f-bombs were the least offensive things to come out of that shit-hole in quite some time.
Caracas is a great city, Dave.
