Castillo<\/strong> (the one, the only, the awesomeness that is <strong>Edward James Olmos<\/strong>) would say of the situation at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/referenceguide-locationdetail.cfm?LocationID=128\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Palms Casino Resort<\/strong><\/a>, which has spent the <strong>Joseph Magliarditi<\/strong> administration spiraling into disrepute. (Trouble at a Magliarditi-run casino? <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lvrj.com\/business\/former-president-and-ceo-of-hard-rock-named-as-president-of-palms-124621959.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Shocking<\/a>!) According to the <em>Las Vegas Review-Journal<\/em>&#8216;s lightning-fast Chris Sieroty, <a href=\"http:\/\/cdcgamingreports.com\/arrests-imminent-in-palms-drug-and-prostitution-sting\/?doing_wp_cron=1358348709.7351970672607421875000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" class=\"broken_link\">multiple arrests are &#8220;imminent&#8221;<\/a> in a prostitution-and-drugs case that will cost the Palms over $1 million in fines. Had <strong>TPG Capital<\/strong> and <strong>Leonard Green<\/strong> not purchased <strong>N9ne Group<\/strong> and rolled it into <strong>FP Holdings<\/strong>, N9ne would be getting escorted <!--more-->off the property by the <strong>Nevada Gaming Control Board<\/strong> immediately, if not sooner. Although low-level &#8216;rogue employees&#8217; will probably be thrown to <strong>Las Vegas Metro<\/strong>, it will be interesting to see how high the scandal rises if any of them roll on their bosses. For a situation of this gravity to have metastasized at the Palms, management would have to be bloody incompetent at best or, giving it the benefit of the doubt, simply turning a blind eye to the problem.<\/p>\n<p><strong>R.I.P., Eastern Cougar<\/strong>. We hardly knew ye <a href=\"http:\/\/www.upworthy.com\/did-you-know-this-animal-went-extinct-because-i-didnt?c=upw5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">until it was too late<\/a>.
