The next one is in the middle of Tehran<\/strong>. So, we mean business<\/em>,” he (or that thing on the back of his head<\/a>) crowed. “‘You pick up your cell phone and you call somewhere in Nebraska<\/strong> and you say, \u2018OK let it go.\u2019 So there\u2019s an atomic weapon, goes over ballistic missiles, the middle of the desert, that doesn\u2019t hurt a soul<\/em>.”<\/p>\n

(At least Sheldon has the foresight to spare potential customers of Venetian Tehran<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

Executives at Las Vegas Sands<\/strong> weren’t long to see that Fearless Leader had stepped in a rhetorical cow-plop<\/a>. \u201cAs one of the country\u2019s most successful entrepreneurs, he was using hyperbole to make a point that \u2014 based on his nearly seven decade-long experience negotiating business deals \u2014 actions speak louder than words<\/em>,\u201d offered Ron Reese<\/strong> by way of a lame explanation, adding that the CEO “was obviously not speaking literally.”<\/p>\n

I don’t believe it. And would someone bring Adelson up to date on “roaming charges” — or radioactive fallout — please?<\/p>\n
