But, no, it&apos;s the headline of yet <a href=\"http:\/\/419emails.blogspot.com\/2008\/06\/trust-in-lord.html\" class=\"broken_link\">another e-mail scam<\/a>,* in the vein of the (in)famous &quot;Nigeria Letter.&quot; I just get a chuckle out of somebody running a con having the brass to begin their snake-oil pitch with the word &quot;TRUST.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>* &#8212; the link leads to an abridged version of the letter. The one sent to HP has an additional four paragraphs, including much taking of God&apos;s name in vain.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Angels 5, Bosox 4<\/strong>. In 12 innings. It&apos;s getting so I can&apos;t bear to watch. (And who thought that hitless wonder <strong>Erick Aybar <\/strong>would provide the clutch RBI?) Like the emotionally grueling &apos;99 NLCS between some plucky, overachieving Mets and the then-ubiquitous Braves, I keep hoping the Angels will climb out of the hole they&apos;ve dug themselves, but every pitch is agony, especially when there&apos;s no room for error.<\/p>\n<p>Actually, that&apos;s not true: The Halos have muffed so many plays and swung at so many pitches off the plate, it really is a miracle that they&apos;re still in it.
