The gentleman on the right is <strong>Carlos Quintano<\/strong>, from <strong>Great Bend<\/strong>, Kan. Only 15 minutes after the doors of <strong>Boot Hill Casino &amp; Resort<\/strong>* flew open, Mr. Quintano had a $1,600 pull on a Double Diamond Strike jackpot and the rest was history. That&#8217;s Boot Hill CEO <strong>Clark D. Stewart<\/strong> on your left. Our Aria coverage may be somewhat lacking but <em>S&amp;G<\/em> is all over this Boot Hill stuff like a cheap suit!<\/p>\n<p>* &#8212; truth be told, it&#8217;s pretty much just &#8220;Casino&#8221; now, with the &#8220;Resort&#8221; part a good ways down the road. Maybe the signage should read: Boot Hill Casino [&amp; Resort].<\/p>\n<p><strong>You asked, we answer<\/strong>. The state with the second-most non-tribal casinos is &#8230; <em>drum roll<\/em> &#8230; <strong>Colorado<\/strong>, whose 35 private-sector casinos just barely nudge <strong>South Dakota<\/strong>&#8216;s 34 into third place. The state with the fewest is <strong>Texas<\/strong>, with one tribal gambling hall (unless you states that are totally casino-less). It&#8217;s not just the Lone Star State, it&#8217;s the Lone Casino State, too.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Lowden Chronicles<\/strong>: For a casino executive, <strong>Sue Lowden<\/strong> makes a natural politician.
