For the record, Penn runs Hollywood Casino St. Louis<\/strong> and Argosy Belle<\/strong>, in Alton, while Pinnacle (which used to own Lumiere Place<\/strong>) will continue to operate Ameristar St. Charles<\/strong> and River City<\/strong>. Clearing the Missouri<\/strong> hurdle makes the Pinnacle takeover an all-but-done deal.<\/p>\n

* Steve Wynn<\/strong>‘s new poker room at Encore<\/strong> sounds very posh indeed<\/a>. It will have three more tables but will be 62% larger than the old poker room, ensuring lots of lebensraum<\/em>. Best of all, you can use the washroom without having to leave the lounge. As for newly \"Wynnannounced Wynn Paradise Park<\/strong>, few details of its signature lagoon are set in stone yet<\/a>. However, by eliminating the Wynncore<\/strong> golf course, Wynn Resorts<\/strong> is going to save a lot of money on its water bill. According to lake designer (yes, they have such things) Crystal Lagoon<\/strong>, a 10-acre lake would consume\u00a0one-thirtieth of the water a thirsty golf course would. Of the project, slated for a 2020 opening, Crystal CEO Uri Man<\/strong> said,\u00a0\u201cMr. Wynn has a vision to reinvent Las Vegas<\/strong> by bringing water to visitors. Instead of people traveling to the Caribbean<\/strong> for clear blue water on sandy beaches, he is bringing the Caribbean to them.\u201d<\/p>\n
