However &#8230; last week&#8217;s four-day deluge may ruined the week for locals and conventioneers but weekenders reaped the benefits in the form of stunning, wraparound vistas of snowcapped mountains circling the Vegas Valley. I have no idea if many (or any) tourists took advantage of the opportunity to scope out <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redrockcanyonlv.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Red Rock Canyon<\/strong><\/a> but conditions for it were literally picture perfect.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2051\" title=\"bellagio-conservatory-chinese-new-year\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/bellagio-conservatory-chinese-new-year.jpg\" alt=\"bellagio-conservatory-chinese-new-year\" width=\"499\" height=\"332\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/bellagio-conservatory-chinese-new-year.jpg 499w, https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/bellagio-conservatory-chinese-new-year-150x99.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/bellagio-conservatory-chinese-new-year-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 499px) 100vw, 499px\" \/>If you need respite<\/strong> from the happy madness at <strong>Bellagio<\/strong>, step into the Chinese New Year display that currently adorns the <strong>Conservatory<\/strong>. The artisans responsible have outdone themselves, whether crafting the topiary panda family or building the Ming Dynasty pagoda. The tiger looks distinctly stoned (Did <strong>Gary Loveman<\/strong> slip it some &#8216;ludes?) but, on the whole, this is a refreshing, mood-altering and &#8212; dare I say it? &#8212; spiritual space. Better still, coins flung into the Dings (the urns which hold the oversized joss sticks) eventually find their way to <strong>Habitat for Humanity<\/strong>.
