(If all goes well, I&#8217;ll fill you in on the details later.) At the moment, I&#8217;m in <strong>Jacksonville<\/strong>, overlooking the river and wondering, given the incredible and beautiful plethora of churches, if <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-17562\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Florida-flag.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"275\" height=\"183\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Florida-flag.png 275w, https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Florida-flag-150x100.png 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 275px) 100vw, 275px\" \/>casino gaming could ever take hold here, as it has in <strong>Tampa<\/strong> &#8230; where I&#8217;ll be in a couple of days. Perhaps I will partake of the <strong>Seminole Hard Rock Tampa<\/strong> while I&#8217;m there, sample the buffet and check out the expansion while the wife plays some penny slots. The last time I checked, the feckless Lege seemed on course to let its last opportunity for gaming reform slip through its fingers. Come November&#8217;s election, the unlikely combination of the <strong>Seminole Tribe<\/strong> and <strong>Disney<\/strong> is likely to put through a ballot issue that places control of gaming expansion in the hands of the electorate, cutting the Lege out of the loop.
