However, the Japanese government is <a href=\"https:\/\/calvinayre.com\/2019\/01\/23\/casino\/japan-announces-casino-advertising-restrictions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">rolling out advertising regulations <\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-21247\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Fujiyama-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Fujiyama-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Fujiyama-150x84.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Fujiyama.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>and they are\u00a0stringent. The only places advertisements will be allowed will be in the passenger terminals of airports and seaports. No ads on buses on trains, let alone visitor centers (even though the casinos are primarily targeted at tourists). More rules are expected to be promulgated, as the second phase of casino legalization in Nippon continues. The Land of the Rising Sun seems to be in no hurry to issue RFPs even though top gaming developers are champing at the bit.<\/p>\n<p>* If <strong>Rush Street Gaming<\/strong> thinks it has a slam dunk for <strong>Brockton<\/strong>, now that the <strong>Massachusetts Gaming Commission<\/strong> is considering <!--more-->reopening\u00a0the stalled southeastern <strong>Massachusetts<\/strong> market, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bostonherald.com\/2019\/01\/23\/gaming-regulators-to-consider-reopening-bid-process-for-southeastern-mass-casino\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">think again<\/a>. But that was only an advisory referendum and the city council <a href=\"http:\/\/www.casinogamespro.com\/2019\/01\/23\/palatine-village-council-to-reopen-discussions-regarding-video-gambling-legalization\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">may move to reverse<\/a> its previous stand against VGTs. So far the council has only voted to reopen debate but it came in response to bar owner Dave Gagner&#8217;s request that the issue be given second thought. And where there&#8217;s a Gagner in the business community, there are surely many others in the business community who will second his motion, as it were.<\/p>\n<p>* \u201cGamers are comfortable with the dark web, they have great computer skills, and they operate anonymously.
