In addition to having the prerogative of naming his own CEO, if that fails, Icahn can add a fourth member to <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-14817\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/carl_icahn.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"211\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/carl_icahn.jpg 250w, https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/carl_icahn-150x126.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/>the Caesars board of directors. One of the nine remaining board members had better be prepared to fall on his sword if <strong>Anthony Rodio<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-caesars-carl-icahn\/caesars-bows-to-icahn-demands-on-board-sale-still-eyed-idUSKCN1QI4K4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">says yes to a job offer<\/a> from his old boss. After all, Rodio&#8217;s got a pretty sweet sinecure at <strong>Affinity Gaming<\/strong> but could quickly become expendable at Caesars were it sold to, say, <strong>Eldorado Resorts<\/strong>. As for Icahn&#8217;s new phalanx on the board, it consists of <strong>Keith Cozza<\/strong>, CEO of <strong>Icahn Enterprises<\/strong>, <strong>Courtney Mather<\/strong>, portfolio manager of <strong>Icahn Capital<\/strong>, and <strong>James Nelson<\/strong>, a member of the Icahn Enterprises board (and whose REIT experience would come in handy). That&#8217;s still only <!--more--><a href=\"https:\/\/investor.caesars.com\/corporate-governance\/board-of-directors\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" class=\"broken_link\">one-quarter of the board<\/a> but the latter is looking an awful lot like a subsidiary of Icahn Enterprises at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>* Credit <strong>MGM Resorts International<\/strong> CEO <strong>Jim Murren<\/strong> with being ahead of the curve on the virtues of public art. <strong>Global Gaming Expo Asia<\/strong> will have a section of the show floor <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ggrasia.com\/art-biz-mini-show-for-resorts-at-g2e-asia-2019-reed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">devoted to objets d&#8217;art<\/a> available for purchase or lease. \u201cWe launched this because of the survey we have conducted with a number of [integrated resort]\u00a0properties and presidents.
