If they&#8217;re in <strong>Mesquite<\/strong> and they&#8217;re owned by the disaster area that is <strong>Black Gaming<\/strong>, they&#8217;re worth <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lasvegassun.com\/news\/gaming\/\" target=\"_blank\">no more than $90 million in toto<\/a>. Yet somehow CEO <strong>Randy Black<\/strong> was able to leverage them up to $253 million, an upside-down asset-to-value ratio that&#8217;s going to leave a lot of creditors twisting in the wind. The secured creditors want to keep Black&#8217;s casinos up and running, while his unsecured debtors would evidently prefer<!--more--> to shut them down, thereby stopping the outflow of cash. I imagine unsecured <strong>Station Casinos<\/strong> creditors are feeling comparable <em>spilkes<\/em> when they see the gold-plated legal bills the <strong>Fertitta Brothers<\/strong> are racking up.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1645\" title=\"ARIAbyNight_t610\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/ARIAbyNight_t610-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"ARIAbyNight_t610\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/ARIAbyNight_t610-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/ARIAbyNight_t610-150x99.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/ARIAbyNight_t610.jpg 610w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Aria deals galore<\/strong>. Between now and April 8, <strong>MGM Mirage<\/strong> is busting out a slew of incentives to drive business at <strong>Aria<\/strong>. If I read the e-mail blast aright, a $129 midweek or $159 midweek booking automatically gets you an upgrade to a <strong>City View<\/strong> room (<a href=\"http:\/\/reservations.mgmmirage.com\/bookingengine.aspx?pid=930&amp;host=offer&amp;code=ARSDS\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"broken_link\">two-night minimum<\/a>), while $50 more buys you a corner suite (and, man, they are spacious). For $279 on weekdays and $309 on weekends, MGM Mirage is offering hitherto-exclusive <strong>Sky Suites<\/strong> &#8230; so exclusive that media weren&#8217;t allowed to see them during our pre-opening walk-throughs, not even the lobby. Use of promo code ARSDS gets you a $75 credit, applicable toward dining, the spa, the beauty salon and &#8212; <em>beLIEve<\/em> it or not &#8212; <em>Viva Elvis<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Speaking of which<\/strong> (if we must), I&#8217;m reliably informed that Tuesday&#8217;s early show came to a grinding halt after the second number, due to &#8220;technical difficulties&#8221; and could not be resumed.
