Bernie] Sanders piled up wins at precincts inside casinos up and down the <strong>Las Vegas Strip<\/strong>, it seemed clear that he had overcome deep opposition from the leadership of the state\u2019s most powerful union to his marquee proposal, Medicare for All.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Runner-up<\/strong>: Jim Murren. The CEO placed all his chips on <strong>Joe Biden<\/strong> and the former vice-president came through with a solid\u00a0second-place finish, keeping his candidacy\u2014and Murren&#8217;s clout\u2014alive for the time being. Too bad Murren is not as persuasive to\u00a0the MGM Resorts International board.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Loser<\/strong>: Harry Reid. His &#8216;don&#8217;t alienate anyone&#8217; strategy handed the state to Sanders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Biggest Loser<\/strong>: The Culinary Union.
