T-Mobile Arena<\/strong> is going to be a lot quieter now that the National Hockey League<\/strong> has suspended its season<\/a> indefinitely. It is leaving the door open to eventual resumption of play, asking constituent arenas to keep ice time \"\"available through July. The league stated, “following last night\u2019s news that an NBA<\/strong> player has tested positive for coronavirus\u2013and given that our leagues share so many facilities and locker rooms and it now seems likely that some member of the NHL community would test positive at some point\u2013it is no longer appropriate to try to continue to play games at this time.\u201d Although the Las Vegas Golden Knights<\/strong> do not share space with any other team, there’s no escaping the blow that will fall heavily both on the franchise and on landlord MGM Resorts International<\/strong>. The next question is whether and when play by MGM’s own Las Vegas Aces<\/strong> of the WNBA<\/strong> will be affected.<\/p>\n
