A fellow staffer writes: &#8220;<em>I have a feeling that the Harrah&#8217;s buffets are keeping same hours, not  going 24\/7, although you&#8217;d never know it from their Tweets. I have some  shouts out to verify, but I think the &#8217;24 hr&#8217; pass they&#8217;re referring to  is an &#8216;all-day&#8217; pass within reg. hours<\/em>.&#8221; (Which would be almost identical to a promotion that a handful of the <strong>MGM Mirage<\/strong> Strip casinos tried last year.)<\/p>\n<p><em>S&amp;G<\/em> reader <strong>8rain<\/strong> gets props for pointing out our oversight. Whoops.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the record<\/strong>, <em>LVA<\/em> readers give the Harrah&#8217;s buffets<!--more--> little love. <strong>Caesars Palace<\/strong> and <strong>Imperial Palace<\/strong> get 1.5 stars apiece, the <strong>Flamingo<\/strong> two, <strong>The Rio<\/strong> three, while <strong>Planet Hollywood<\/strong> rates a 3.5 and surprise winner <strong>Harrah&#8217;s LV<\/strong> a four.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It appears that Harrah&#8217;s Entertainment&#8216;s big buffet offer, encompassing seven Strip properties, isn&#8217;t quite as good as it sounded to us at LVA at first blush.
