Not only does <strong>Isle Grand Palais<\/strong> on <strong>Lake Charles<\/strong> remain closed after being ripped from its moorings by <strong>Hurricane Laura<\/strong>, the state was battered by <strong>Hurricanes Delta and Zeta<\/strong>. Pelican State casinos grossed $152 million, down 18%. While <strong>Baton Rouge<\/strong> revenues were flat, <strong>New Orleans<\/strong> really got slammed, tumbling 32%. Even Lake Charles was &#8216;only&#8217; 20.5% off and it usually bears the brunt of hurricane season (playing an extended engagement this year). To dispense with Red Stick, <strong>L&#8217;Auberge Baton Rouge<\/strong> was up 7% to $13 million. <strong>Casino Rouge<\/strong> was off 3% to $4 million, while customers continue to flee <strong>Tom Reeg<\/strong>&#8216;s beloved <strong>Belle of Baton Rouge<\/strong> in droves, -39% to $1 million. (Just close the place already, Tom.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--nextpage-->\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">In the Big Uneasy, <strong>Harrah&#8217;s New Orleans<\/strong> led with $14 million but fell 39%, while <strong>Boomtown New Orleans<\/strong>&#8216; $7.5 million represented a 22.5% falloff. <strong>Treasure Chest<\/strong> slid 26% to $6 million, <strong>Fair Grounds<\/strong> racino eked out $3 million, minus 24.5%, and <strong>Amelia Belle<\/strong> toppled 27% to $2 million. Lake Charles casinos were led by <strong>Golden Nugget<\/strong>&#8216;s $22 million (-7%), followed by <strong>L&#8217;Auberge Lake Charles<\/strong> with $16.5 million (-20.5%) and <strong>Delta Downs<\/strong> mopped up the leftovers: $11.5 million, down only 6%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong>Margaritaville<\/strong> and <strong>Horseshoe Bossier City<\/strong> continue to fight it out for dominance of the <strong>Shreveport<\/strong>\/<strong>Bossier City<\/strong> marketplace. <strong>Penn National<\/strong>&#8216;s Margaritaville led with $15 million, leaping 23.5%, while Horseshoe was close behind with $14 million, a 7% slippage. <strong>Twin Rivers<\/strong> had a bad month at <strong>Eldorado Shreveport<\/strong>, down 18.5% to $6.5 million and everybody else was left fighting for table scraps. <strong>Horseshoe Louisiana Downs<\/strong> was the laggard, grossing $3 million (-5%), surpassed by <strong>Boomtown Bossier<\/strong> (-2.5%) and <strong>Sam&#8217;s Town<\/strong> (plunging 25.5%) at $4 million each. Outstate, <strong>Evangeline Downs<\/strong> shed 15.5% to gross $5 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Programming note<\/strong>: Due to severe arthritis pains, this will be the only Stiffs &amp; Georges today.
