On a related note, local political columnist <strong>Hugh Jackson<\/strong> has dubbed colorful <strong>Nevada<\/strong> eccentric and <strong>CityCenter<\/strong> foe <strong>Sharron Angle<\/strong>, &#8220;the <strong>Snooki<\/strong> of American politics.&#8221; That wasn&#8217;t meant as a compliment, although I suppose you could spin a goofy marketing campaign from it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>View from the bridge<\/strong>. A <strong>California<\/strong>-based casino aspirant, <strong>Plain Joe Development LLC<\/strong>, has dropped out of the running for<!--more--> a pleasure palace near the <strong>Chain of Rocks Bridge<\/strong>. With that $284 million proposal off the table, that leaves a rival Koman family project, the $115 million <em>Casino Celebration<\/em>, in the running against <strong>Cape Girardeau<\/strong> and <strong>Sugar Creek<\/strong>.
