Our blogging software just ate a lengthy post on the smoking controversy<\/a> in Atlantic City<\/b>. And a follow-up effort. Which is technology's way of saying, "Fuck it; it's Friday and I'm outta here!"<\/p>\n

In other news, Bill Clinton<\/b> still can't find the truth<\/a> with both hands and a flash light. (The accompanying "I almost caught one THIS big" photo is particularly apt.)<\/p>\n

But, to end the week on a positive note, I see that the snakebitten Detroit Tigers<\/b> have finally taken a game, bringing their winning percentage to a robust .111. On the other hand, the St. Louis Cardinals<\/b> offloaded most of their power hitters — not to mention the sublime David Eckstein<\/b> — in the offseason but are 7-3. Go figure.<\/p>\n
