As yesterday&#8217;s <em>New York Times<\/em>, the <strong>Senate Ethics Committee<\/strong> may yet refer its findings to the <strong>Justice Department<\/strong> and those findings might very well be that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2011\/04\/23\/us\/23ensignfolo.html?_r=1\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"broken_link\">the famous $96,000 concubine-payoff moolah<\/a> &#8220;could represent an illegal campaign contribution by [Sen. John] Ensign\u2019s parents.&#8221; That&#8217;d be a felony, folks, and would write <em>finis<\/em> to Ensign Senior&#8217;s attempts to get back into the gaming industry (and would dampen any hopes Junior has of landing a cushy sinecure with financial supporters <strong>Steve Wynn<\/strong> or <strong>Sheldon Adelson<\/strong>).
