Well, when <strong>Chicago<\/strong> commodities broker-turned-fugitive <strong>Arthur Jones<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.azcentral.com\/news\/articles\/2011\/07\/22\/20110722man-thought-dead-found-in-vegas22-ON.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"broken_link\">wanted to avoid being found<\/a>, he took a job as a sports book writer at <strong>Rampart Casino<\/strong>. Guess he figured it was the last place anybody would look for another human being. On the run from the law (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lasvegassun.com\/news\/2011\/jul\/22\/authorities-arrest-chicago-broker-found-hiding-out\/\" target=\"_blank\">and possibly the Mob, too<\/a>), Jones faked his own death in 1979 and began a new life in Sin City as &#8220;<strong>Joseph Sandelli<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-7180\" title=\"Arthur Jones\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/Arthur-Jones-112x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"112\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/Arthur-Jones-112x150.jpg 112w, https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/Arthur-Jones-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/Arthur-Jones.jpg 227w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 112px) 100vw, 112px\" \/>In addition to whatever problems Jones faces with <strong>Uncle Sam<\/strong>, he&#8217;s now on the hook for a quartet of <strong>Nevada<\/strong> felonies. If convicted, the 72-year-old changeling might never see the inside of a casino again. Now that &#8220;Sandelli&#8221; has posted 20 dimes&#8217; bail, my hunch is authorities won&#8217;t see his ass for dust. So if you&#8217;re in a tribal casino somewhere, keep an eye peeled for the man to the right &#8212; especially if he asks for your <strong>Social Security<\/strong> number.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, if Jones\/Sandelli really didn&#8217;t want to be seen, he should have gotten a job at <strong>Crystals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Calling all artists<\/strong>: Your talents are wanted at<!--more--> <strong>Luxor<\/strong>, <a href=\"http:\/\/luxor.com\/call_for_artists\/\" target=\"_blank\">of all unlikely places<\/a>. There&#8217;s hope for the pyramid yet! This sounds like something <strong>Jim Murren<\/strong> would dream up.
