It cited investor reluctance and warned more delays are likely.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysts like few gaming stocks<\/strong> and one of those lucky few is <strong>Penn National<\/strong>. But a Morgan Joseph analyst thinks Penn has gone about as high as it should and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forbes.com\/feeds\/ap\/2009\/04\/21\/ap6317028.html\">perhaps too high<\/a>. The sparked an early sell-off of PENN, thankfully followed by a rally.<\/p>\n<p><strong>One more thing<\/strong> to blame on casinos. The tighty righties (and lefties) are going to have a field day with this. It&#8217;s a windfall of free publicity for <strong>Foxwods Resort Casino<\/strong>, though.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/userfiles\/Image\/donald_trump_2-270x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"270\" height=\"400\" \/> The mouth that snored<\/strong>: How far over the shark has casino mogul-turned-TV performer <strong>Donald Trump<\/strong> jumped? Would you believe he was &#8220;<em>spotted dozing off during <strong>Paul McCartney<\/strong>&#8216;s concert Sunday at The Joint at the <strong>Hard Rock Hotel<\/strong>,<\/em>&#8221; according to gossip columnist <strong>Norm(!) Clarke<\/strong>. By all accounts, the McCartney show was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lasvegassun.com\/blogs\/kats-report\/2009\/apr\/20\/night-new-place-mccartneys-joint\/\">far and away<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.lasvegascitylife.com\/cityblog\/2009\/04\/20\/scary-good-show-paul-mccartney-plays-the-joint-blithely-sends-blogger-into-state-of-hypnotic-regression\">one of the most electrifying concerts<\/a> given in Vegas in quite some time, launching Joint 2.0 in style. Sleepy Uncle Trump, though, officially qualifies for fuddy-duddy status.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mike Weatherford<\/strong>, author of <em>Cult Vegas<\/em>, has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lvrj.com\/blogs\/vegasvoice\/ENTERTAINMENT_Apologize_for_what.html\">a refreshingly contrarian take<\/a> on the <strong>Criss Angel<\/strong> brouhaha from last weekend. Both <strong>MGM Mirage<\/strong> and <strong>Cirque du Soleil<\/strong> knew what they were getting (or at least thought they did) when they signed Angel. The real disgrace here, IMO, is that it took Cirque nearly 72 hours to <a href=\"http:\/\/vegasblog.latimes.com\/vegas\/2009\/04\/perez-hiton-gets-apology-from-cirque-angel-remains-silent.html\">crawl forward with an apology<\/a>. D&#8217;ya mean to say they actually had to <em>think it over<\/em>? Ridiculous &#8230; though not as ridiculous as the amount of oxygen being consumed by the <strong>Carrie Prejean<\/strong> kerfuffle. Would the vaudeville hook please drag that Stepford Wife-to-be <em>and<\/em> her have-they-nothing-better-to-do detractors off the stage, please?<\/p>\n<p>(Prominently visible in at least one clip from the show was <strong>Treasure Island<\/strong> owner <strong>Phil Ruffin<\/strong>, separated from Old Man Trump by a stunning beauty whom I took to be Mrs. Ruffin.
