(And, make no mistake, there isn&#8217;t a discernible point where El Steve leaves off and &#8220;Wynn Resorts&#8221; begins. <em>L&#8217;etat c&#8217;est lui<\/em>.) If it weren&#8217;t for the first Mrs. Wynn, <strong>The Mirage<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2012\/05\/06\/magazine\/how-elaine-wynn-survived-45-years-in-sin-city.html?_r=1&amp;smid=fb-share\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"broken_link\">might have been built right up to the sidewalk<\/a>, like a premature version of <strong>Fontainebleau<\/strong>. There&#8217;s a school of thought that <strong>Wynncore<\/strong> has gotten rather <em>d\u00e9class\u00e9<\/em> of late. If you hold that view, the waning of Elaine&#8217;s influence might have something to do with it.
