The bloated bloviator has been promising another of his shocking revelations &#8212;<em> too shocking to be revealed!<\/em> &#8212; but might be bumped from precious TV time by the furies of the storm. With characteristic Trump imbecility, The Donald was already in <strong>Florida<\/strong>, then flew to <strong>New York City<\/strong>, where he now finds himself stranded, the poor dear. However, this didn&#8217;t prevent him from loosing a hurricane of protectionist nonsense. What a joke.<br \/>\n<script src=\"https:\/\/video.foxnews.com\/v\/embed.js?id=1808786351001&amp;w=450&amp;h=263\" type=\"text\/javascript\"><\/script><noscript>Watch the latest video at <a href=\"http:\/\/video.foxnews.com\">video.foxnews.com<\/a><\/noscript><\/p>\n<p><strong>Turning from buffoonery<\/strong> to the blasts of Isaac, four more <strong>Louisiana<\/strong> casinos <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sunherald.com\/2012\/08\/27\/4149104\/isaac-closing-at-least-6-louisiana.html#storylink=rss\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"broken_link\">are calling it a day<\/a>. <strong>Boyd Gaming<\/strong> and <strong>Penn National Gaming<\/strong> joined the flotilla of operators who have shut down. Boyd&#8217;s <em>Treasure Chest<\/em> riverboat and <strong>Peninsula Gaming<\/strong>&#8216;s <em>Amelia Belle<\/em> both went dark at midnight, and <strong>Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge<\/strong> followed suit in the wee hours of this morning. One racino, <strong>Fair Grounds Race Course &amp; Slots<\/strong>, has also been shuttered for the time being. As of late yesterday, Penn&#8217;s <strong>Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fox8live.com\/story\/19390346\/isaac-closing-at-least-6-louisiana-casinos\" target=\"_blank\">was only the second to cease operations<\/a>. At the same time, <strong>Isle of Capri Casinos<\/strong> was still twiddling its thumbs and &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/stlouis\/news\/2012\/08\/27\/isle-of-capri-awaits-word-on-isaacs.html?page=all\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"broken_link\">monitoring conditions<\/a>&#8221; at its <strong>Biloxi<\/strong> casino. Since <strong>Tilman Fertitta<\/strong> is paying only $45 million to obtain the property and is planning to take a wrecking ball to much of it, Isaac might spare him the trouble.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-6943\" title=\"IP Biloxi\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/IP-Biloxi-112x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"112\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/IP-Biloxi-112x150.jpg 112w, https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/IP-Biloxi-224x300.jpg 224w, https:\/\/www.lasvegasadvisor.com\/stiffs-and-georges\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/IP-Biloxi.jpg 262w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 112px) 100vw, 112px\" \/>The <strong>Mississippi Gaming Commission<\/strong>, after an inexplicable delay, finally got off its duff this morning and directed all <strong>Gulf Coast<\/strong> casinos <a href=\"http:\/\/www.commercialappeal.com\/news\/2012\/aug\/28\/mississippi-commission-orders-all-coast-casinos-cl\/?CID=happeningnow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"broken_link\">to shutter their operations<\/a>. As of this writing, they should have been closed two-and-a-half hours now, leaving casino employees a few precious hours to secure all cash and chips, and batten down the hatches. Neither Boyd&#8217;s <strong>Palace Casino<\/strong> (<em>left<\/em>) nor <strong>MGM Resorts International<\/strong>&#8216;s <strong>Beau Rivage<\/strong> waited for state edict when they saw storm-driven waters backing up into their parking areas around 8 a.m., CST. It&#8217;s certainly a piquant turn of events, with operators generally showing due diligence while the states&#8217; response time lags.
