Hilton Honors generally has the best promotions in the hotel category, but the first quarter promotion for 2020, called Points Unlimited, is somewhat weak. Here are the details of the Points Unlimited Promotion:

Points Unlimited: 2,000 Points Per Stay (Plus A Bit More)
Hilton’s first quarter promotion for 2020 is weak when compared to the company’s usual double points offers. It runs from January 6 — May 3 and is best for people who have frequent one-night stays.
- You earn 2,000 bonus points per stay (at Hilton Brands). Remember, a “stay” is one check-in and check-out, so if you arrive on a Monday and depart on a Thursday, that’s three nights, but only one stay. You’ll get 2,000 bonus points.
- There’s a consolation prize based on nights, though. For every ten nights you stay during the promotional period, they’ll give you 10,000 points.
- Don’t forget to register for the Points Unlimited Promotion online.

How Much Is It Worth?
We value one Hilton Honors point at a minimum value of 0.4 cents each, meaning that you’ll earn $8 worth of points for every stay during the promotion ($.004*2,000 points). If you stay 10 nights, that will get you an additional $40 in value. The Points Unlimited Promotion is not enough to sway my business for the quarter, but it’s a freebie worth signing up for, in case you do stay at one of their properties.
