SLH is an affiliation of independent luxury hotels. These are boutiques that don’t have the marketing power of a large lodging company behind them, so they are doing it on their own.

So How Is World Of Hyatt Involved?

The large brands have realized that customers appreciate boutique hotels but, by virtue of the fact that they are global chains, the mega-companies cannot offer those experiences. Thus, they’ve all partnered with independent properties. The boutiques get the benefits of the chains marketing reach, while the Marriotts and Hyatts of the world can offer their customers something slightly different.

Hyatt’s partnership is with the Small Luxury Hotels of the World that I discussed above. Hyatt customers can earn and redeem at over 300 participating SLH properties, and earn World Of Hyatt bonus points.

For every paid stay between now and March 2, you’ll earn 3,000 Hyatt points for every stay that you have at a participating hotel. Standard award rooms range from 5,000 to 40,000 points, so a 3,000 point bonus per stay is not chicken feed.
