JetBlue London to Vegas

Did you say JetBlue London to Vegas? Whenever JetBlue starts a route to a new city, it’s a bonus for people who live there, since the airline frequently undercuts competitors’ prices and somehow manages to offer better service. But the most recent JetBlue city is something a little different. They’re going transatlantic now, so why not look at them for your next trip from London to Las Vegas.

About your JetBlue Flight

Flying on JetBlue is generally a joy. The folks from the airline are generally, dare I say, nice. For more details about the airline, particularly for those of you who have never flown them, I’d definitely take a look at the piece from God Save the Points.

The flight is a one-stop through JFK, where you will clear customs and immigrations, as well as have the opportunity to re-check your luggage for the trip to Sin City. Once you’re in Las Vegas, you’re ready to hit the ground running.

Book a Package Between London and Las Vegas

Why not put together a flight and hotel and spend a week in Las Vegas? Want to go all out with luxury? No problem. Not interested in breaking the bank? That’s possible, also. Here are a couple of suggestions for you:

A Bit More Wallet-Friendly

I’ve decided to book a week in Las Vegas right before Christmas, so I’m flying out from London on December 14 and returning on December 21, since flying midweek is a big money-saver. We’re just going to use one of the Blue Basic fares, since we’re really just interested in getting there.

Flight cost per person: $739.44

Delano Las Vegas – All Suites + Luxury Benefits

We want to stay inexpensively but we still like to live well. How about the all-suite Delano? Our LVA Luxury rate not only gets you a room suite at one of the nicest properties on the Strip but also daily breakfast for two (up to $60 per room) and a $100 food and beverage credit. Heck, you’ll even get Hyatt points. Have we mentioned the rate is $129 per night? Of course, it’s Las Vegas, so there are taxes and room fees.

One week at MGM Delano: $1,333.34
Included benefits: $520 in credits

London to Las Vegas: The Luxury Version

Want to go all out? Well, it’s Las Vegas, so there is certainly more than one way, but we like suites. It starts with JetBlue’s all-suite business class, followed by a slightly larger one in Las Vegas.

You can play around with dates, but I’m going to stick to our pre-Christmas visit as noted above.

The Mirage Suite

For our stay, we’re going to spend some time in a Mirage suite. 812 square feet, a parlor next to the bedroom and two full baths. The price is still quite good, at $227.57 per night, for a total of $2,115.71.

The Mirage Tower Suite

Want something even grander? Another $400 will get you upgraded to a Tower Suite, bigger than most New York apartments at 1,251 square feet. There’s a living room, dining room, wet bar and upgraded sound system for your partying pleasure. The total cost is $2,512.54.

The Bottom Line

Whenever an airline launches a new city, it causes upheaval in ticket prices. Now is a great time to take advantage of JetBlue’s entry into London.
