Cheap “Secret” Prices
As you probably know by now, we recently launched our Las Vegas Luxury portal, which gets you some amazing perks at our curated luxury products. Resort credits, daily breakfast, and potential upgrades are all part of the fun. Best of all, we have access to these deals in almost every major city, not just Las Vegas. One of the most common requests we get is “how can I get Las Vegas Luxury Hotels “cheap?”

Negotiated Rates For Major Savings
We’re now ready to move into Step 2 of the roll-out: negotiated rates. Our host agency received a ton of demand for room discounts instead of benefits, so they worked out a deal with many of their partners. Now, at many of these luxury properties, we can offer a discounted rate instead of the additional perks. These rates are called “LVA Edge Rates.” The discounts vary bigly: We saw one the other day for $200 per night (worth it) and one for about $3 per night (not so much).
Las Vegas Luxury Hotels Cheap – An Example
Example: Let’s say you want to spend Thanksgiving in Las Vegas. I checked out a couple of our more popular options and came up with the following:
Venetian regular rate: $236.91/night
Venetian LVA Edge rate: $185.03
Wynn regular rate: $242.01/night
Wynn LVA Edge rate: $202.52/night

What are the Terms and Conditions of LVA Edge Rates?
Are there conditions for the LVA Edge rates? Absolutely. The hotels need a few trade-offs in addition for the lower rate. Fortunately, none of the conditions are particularly onerous. Here are the biggies:
- Rates are fully refundable, but they are generally prepaid. In exchange for the lower rate, the hotels will want you to prepay the room and taxes at the time of booking, instead of just taking a deposit. These rates are fully refundable, however. If you decide to cancel, you will still get all of your money back.
- The best discounts will come at the luxury properties. A hotel that normally charges $400 per night can afford to sell a block of rooms for $350.
- These rates tend to go quickly. Hotels are only obligated to offer them until they have filled a certain percentage of their rooms. Once they have hit that threshold, the rates will likely disappear. If you find a rate you like, you should book immediately and then cancel if you find something better. Remember, these are fully refundable.
- You may not get loyalty points. Officially, you won’t, but that doesn’t mean that they won’t get in if you ask for your number to be added at check-in.
Rates Disappear IN A FLASH
It is worth repeating that some of these amazing rates will be available for predicted high-capacity weekends, but they will not last long. Thinking about a big concert weekend or a Las Vegas Raiders Home Game weekend? You must act fast. Remember, these rates are refundable, but even if we quote a rate, it is NOT confirmed until the reservation is guaranteed and confirmed.
Some Outlier Rates Are Incredible

What Vegas Luxury Hotel?
This example is considered a 5* Vegas Luxury Hotel on the strip. We won’t share the name in a blog post because this example will surely not last long. This is meant as an example of the types of Las Vegas Luxury “secret deals” we can sometimes offer. We did run these pricing scenarios the morning of May 18, 2021.
Curious? – Las Vegas Luxury for Cheap
In this example, the base room rate* with LVA Edge was $246.88. The competitive price on the properties website is $485.20. Obviously, both rates have the (ugly) taxes and resort fees. Will these types of rates last long? No way. If you desire Las Vegas Luxury Hotels cheap, we strongly encourage you to book soon after receiving the quote.
*What is a “base room rate?” A base room rate is a room rate prior to adding any taxes, fees, resort fees, or resort fee taxes. You must always remember to add the fees to any of these rates. We do our best at LVA Travel to give you an estimate. Many times, these fees are collected by the property when you check in.
The Bottom Line for the Lowest Rates
We’re delighted to be able to offer LVA Edge rates. They won’t be available at every hotel and tend to go pretty quickly, but you’ll definitely save some money if you decide that daily breakfast isn’t important to you.
