Southwest is among the best when it comes to organizing packages. Because of the breadth of their network and number of passengers that they carry, not only do they fly anywhere you go but they also have a lot of bargaining power when dealing with the hotels. Use it to your advantage!
The Why and the Where for Southwest Vacations
- I looked at this month’s vacations, and the bias for deals definitely leans toward Las Vegas. (Be sure to note there are also other gambling vacation packages.) Many of the properties are also offering extras, such as casino credits or free breakfast. Orlando, one of their other big destinations, does not look as exciting this month. Sorry Mouseketeers.
- Southwest Vacation Deals will allow you to break up the cost of the trip into monthly payments, instead of paying for everything at once. Note: This may involve some interest payments!
- It’s cheap and easy. No hunting around for hotels and airfares separately. Likewise, they buy enough rooms that they can get you a deal, particularly in a city like Las Vegas, where they need to get you into the rooms to make even more money on you.
