Track Your Points
One of the most frustrating aspects of the miles and points game is keeping track of all your points, miles and accounts. It’s easy to forget what goes where and which account numbers belong to which travel partner. Today we will examine how to track your points with AwardWallet.
If you’re not an Excel Spreadsheet geek like some of us, AwardWallet is a handy tool to put everything together and track your points. The premise is simple: Put everything together on one site so that you have one-click access. You can list all of your account numbers on the site and it will link to the providers, allowing you to view all of your accounts on one page.
More Than Just The Ability To Track Your Points
While most people use the service for its points tracking technology, AwardWallet also has helpful travel features. For instance, it allows you to manually track documents like your passport number, or other airline-related credits, such as travel vouchers. It will also offer notices of expirations on miles, promotions and others.
Does It Cost Anything? No, It’s A Freemium
The site offers a “Freemium” model, with extras for those who choose to pay the $30 per year, but most people can probably do just fine with the free version, but the advanced version offers additional access, unlimited changes and faster reporting. Most of the information regarding benefits can be found on the FAQ page.
In addition to the ability to track your points AwardWallet is often adding new features, some of which include credit card optimization tools. Some features include credit card spend analytics and a merchant lookup tool.
What Else Should I Know?
It’s not just airlines and hotels! You can also track other programs, such as casino loyalty programs like Caesars, MGM M life and Station Boarding Pass. The cruise lines are also included.
AwardWallet provides comprehensive information regarding your account, but Delta and United have blocked access to their system. Fortunately, you can use the manual entry to track your points in these programs. It won’t give you real-time information, but at least it will all be in one place.
