How are you?<br>Something Completely Different<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Needless to say, the world has been a little different over the past week or so. And whether you&#8217;re at home now or need to go into work, I just wanted to take a second and thank you for spending a few minutes reading what I have to say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe class='youtube-player' width='1200' height='675' src='https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lOJ8Lc-TfNg?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent' allowfullscreen='true' style='border:0;' sandbox='allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation'><\/iframe><\/span>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Even in isolation, it&#8217;s nice to have a sense of community. And whether that community is an online book group, knitting group or a Las Vegas-based site, I feel a little less secluded knowing that people are out there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyway, I&#8217;m going to keep writing and I hope that you will keep reading. I am by no means a cockeyed optimist, but I know that there will eventually be a &#8220;normal&#8221; again and we&#8217;re all going to be traveling again, whether it&#8217;s Las Vegas or your other favorite destination. In the meantime, I&#8217;ve got lots of indoor activities planned with my family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>How Are You?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We took a walk yesterday and I noticed something. Instead of staring into their phones, people actually smiled at each other on the street. Strangers said hello to each other and told each other to stay safe.
