There’s no shortage of ideas if you haven’t yet made plans to celebrate your mom.  Here are some highlights of events and celebrations going on around town.

 

Things To Do:

 

Mother’s Day Mall Crop – Meadows Mall, May 10-11

Head over to the Meadows Mall for a Scrapbooking Crop with lots of prizes, a raffle ticket, table gifts ,and more! Bring your supplies or purchase from their vendors. Tickets are $25.

 

Mother’s Day Cookie and Canvas – Discovery Children’s Museum, May 12, 10:30 a.m.-noon

Celebrate Mother’s Day Morning with Cookies and Canvas painting. The whole family is invited and cookies and punch will be served. Guest must register to join in on the fun.

 

Mothers Day Spring Concert – Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo, May 12, 1 p.m.

Treat mom to an afternoon concert starring the Las Vegas Classical Guitar Ensemble. Free and open to the public.

 

Mother’s Day Shopping – Town Square, May 10-12

Present receipts totaling $100 or more from any Town Square apparel, jewelry, or health and beauty store to the Concierge Booth and receive a $25 Town Square Las Vegas Gift Card.

 

Mom’s Rock! At the Diane Snyder Run to Remember 10K/5K/1M – Floyd Lamb Park, May 11, 8 a.m.

It’s the 10th Annual Mother’s Day weekend event at Floyd Lamb Park and the entire family is invited to participate! All moms receive a flower and every participant will receive a cool tech shirt and finisher’s medal. There will be awards, music, food, prizes, and lots of fun.

 

FIT4MOM – Downtown Summerlin, May 11, 9 a.m.

FIT4MOM features Stroller Strides workout, professional mommy & me photos, Swag Bags for the first 100 moms, raffle giveaways, mini spa treatments, and children’s activities.

 

Art Festival of Henderson – Henderson Events Plaza May 11-12

Enjoy a day of fine arts and crafts with live demonstrations, chalk art creations, live entertainment, food, and activities for the kids. Admission and parking are free.

 

Mother’s Day Photos – Bass Pro Shops, May 11-12

Join Bass Pro Shops for their Mother’s Day Photo event and receive a free 4×6 photo with the opportunity to purchase a photo package. Be one of the first of 75 mom’s to get your photo taken and get a free plaid tote.

 

Mother’s Day – Cowabunga Bay, May 12, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Moms get in FREE with a paid regular price admission for a kid.

 

Dining:

 

House of Blues Gospel Brunch – Mandalay Bay

Treat mom to Mother’s Day brunch at the famous Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues. Enjoy Southern-inspired dining, along with special activities. Seating times 9 a.m., noon, and 3 p.m. Mothers and grandmothers will receive flowers and a special song during the set.

 

Ri Ra – Shoppes at Mandalay Bay

Show mom how much you care this Mother’s Day with an Afternoon Tea at Ri Ra’s. The menu includes finger sandwiches, freshly baked fruit scones, delicious desserts, and a pot of tea. There are two fabulous menu options – Dunbrody for $24 per person and MacNean for $35 per person.

 

CHICA Las Vegas – Venetian

Spice up Mother’s Day with a Latin-inspired a la carte menu featuring Chef Lorena Garcia’s authentic and classic dishes. Moms can also enjoy bottomless mimosas for $25.

 

Cleo – SLS

Cleo will feature a Mother’s Day Jazz and Champagne brunch from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The all-inclusive brunch is $55 and $10 for children ages 3-10. Bottomless cocktails include Champagne, mimosas, and Bloody Mary’s.

 

Beer Park – Paris

Beer Park offers bottomless mimosas, live entertainment, and a flower for mom during its electric brunch, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

 

TREVI Italian Restaurant – Form Shops

TREVI Italian Restaurant is giving moms free drinks to celebrate Mother’s Day. With the purchase of an entree, moms will be treated to a signature Bellini, a frozen blend of peach, nectar, peach schnapps, Rondiaz rum, and sparkling wine.

 

Cabo Wabo Cantina – Planet Hollywood

This year on Mother’s Day, Cabo Wabo Cantina will treat moms to a complimentary “mom-mosa” with the purchase of a breakfast entree from 8 a.m.-11 a.m.

 

Flour & Barley – The LINQ

Guests can enjoy a complimentary glass of Prosecco or Moscato for moms throughout Mother’s Day.

 

Hard Rock

MB Steak

All moms will receive a complimentary glass of Jeio Prosecco and gourmet chocolates.

 

Pink Taco

Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. for $55 per person, kids under 8 eat for free. Plus, free mimosas for mom.

 

Siegel’s 1941 – El Cortez

Siegel’s is offering all moms a free mimosa or dessert with the purchase of any entree.

 

Ferraro’s Italian Resturant – 4480 Paradise Rd.

Ferraro’s has a prix-fixe menu to treat moms on Mother’s Day. The four-course meal includes several options of seasonal specials. A complimentary cocktail is included and the menu is priced at $59.50 per guest. The regular menu and wine list will also be available.

 

Mother’s Day Brunch – Springs Preserve

Divine Cafe at Springs Preserve will be serving brunch from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Reserved seating only – 9 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 2 p.m., which includes an Indoor and Patio Carving Station. Adult price, $35.42/ Children 5 to 10, $11.82.

 

Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar – Red Rock Casino

Make this Mother’s Day special at Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar with brunch from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. or dinner from 5 p.m.-10 p.m. During brunch, all moms will be treated to free bottomless mimosas. In addition to the traditional brunch menu, try the Crab Cake Benedict Special and for dinner, enjoy the Braised Lamb Shank Special. Listen to the music of Dan Fester starting at 6 p.m.

 

Pancho’s Mexican – Downtown Summerlin

Pancho’s Mexican will celebrate Mother’s Day with a Champagne brunch and live music starting at 10 a.m. All Mother’s and guest who purchase an entree will receive complimentary Champagne during lunch hours from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Continuing the celebration, smooth jazz artist Grant Peacock will serenade guest inside Pancho’s from 2 p.m.-5 p.m.

 

Andiron Steak & Sea – Downtown Summerlin

Treat mom to a delicious breakfast with sweet Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes made with vanilla bean whipped Greek yogurt and almond streusel for $17.

 

Promenade Cafe – Rampart Casino

The Promenade Cafe is offering a special Mother’s Day three-course menu from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. for just $19.99.

 

Bottiglia Cucina & Enoteca Green Valley Ranch

Treat mom to brunch from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. or dinner 5 p.m.-10 p.m. at Bottiglia Cucina & Enoteca. Bottomless mimosas are free to all moms during brunch. Live music begins at 6 p.m. with Cameron Dettman.

 

Baja Miguel’s – South Point

Baja Miguel’s offer a menu from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. The specialty menu will be available for $22.95 per person and includes a complimentary margarita or glass of wine with menu options.

 

Distill & Remedy’s – All locations

This Mother’s Day, take Mom to her favorite neighborhood bar, where all moms will be greeted with a rose upon arrival and may indulge in a special menu item and her favorite cocktail.
