Episode 42: The VGK Are the Number-One Team in the NHL

November 9, 2022 3 Comments Written by LVA Admin

Well well well. Guess who has the best record in the NHL? That’s right, your Vegas Golden Knights, 4-0 so far on the road trip after defeating the Maple Leafs 4-3 in OT as this episode hits the web.

Is there anything to complain about in VGK land or would it just be nitpicking? Eddie and Joe debate! But there’s also a huge decision on the horizon: What are the VGK going to do with three healthy goalies? There are options, but none of them are good!

All this and more in Episode 42.

I said before the road trip that it would be successful trip if they got at least 7 points of a possible 10. With last night’s win in Toronto where they have never won before, they now have 8 points out of 8 and they only think standing in their way for a perfect 5-0 road trip and 10 points is Thursday’s game in Buffalo. With the return of Eichel to Buffalo who might have turned over the apple cart in last year’s tilt in Buffalo, this game will be a barn burner and I predict with Eichel being at 100% this season Buffalo and their fans will regret forcing him out of town.

Playing great team hockey and this reminds me of 2017 minus the physical play. Go Knights ⚔️

Brian Mishefske yes that may be the only thing they are missing right now. When Pietrangelo got blasted into the boards the Canadians wound up with a power play. If you are going to stand up for your guys, make it worthwhile I have no problem taking a penalty there especially with what the score was but at least send a message with your fist that shit like this will not be tolerated. Even Eichel took a big hit and the only thing that was done was Hague had a few words with the players. Screw talking drop the gloves make him know that this will be the response if you take liberties with our star players.
