The new A.Y.C.E. Buffet opened today at the Palms.
We haven’t eaten there yet (we like to sample as paying customers), but we walked through on media day and it looks fantastic, featuring lots of creative small plates similar to the Wicked Spoon at the Cosmopolitan or the Bacchanal at Caesars.

The big difference is the pricing. It starts at just $8.99 for breakfast when you show a Boarding Pass card. Lunch is $11.99 and dinner is $17.99 (all $2 more without a card). From what we saw, at these prices this could be the best buffet deal in Las Vegas. There are seven islands.
The salad station, called The Greenery, has a complete build-your-own set-up, but also pre-made veggie concoctions, including small antipasto bowls.

The Roastery carves the usual meats (though we didn’t see a beef round), but also goes non-traditional with a big selection of sliders, calamari steak, and a cool giant stalk of roasted cauliflower, pictured on the left.

Perhaps the most interesting station is The Hearth. It’s a comfort-food theme, including mac & cheese, stromboli, chicken pot pie, and shepherd’s pie. The other stations are Smoke & Fire (BBQ), Revival (wellness and power-boosting), Sweet & Light (desserts), and The World Pan, with paella, cioppino, stroganoff, congee, bao, and dim sum.

As mentioned, this was just the press peek. We’ll check out what’s different for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and report. In the meantime, we’d really like to hear comments from those who try it.
It gets better. The Palms is back in the 2018 Member Rewards Book, so you’ll be able to try the A.Y.C.E. Buffet for half price.

Never miss another post
Husband and I, both being chairman, received two free buffets each. Went Thursday for lunch. Met two nice people in line and invited them to join us. We all were very much impressed by the choices and quality of everything. Highly recommend you try it.
Did you get card price discount with 2 for coupon? Reason I ask, is Palms has never give card discounts on their Buffets meals like other casinos in Las Vegas always honor.
Went to AYCE for Monday breakfast buffet, and it was fresh & excellent. Contrast that with our Buffet at Bellagio for Sunday brunch,
very pricy, with DRY, tough Prime Rib and DRY turkey. Bellagio buffet has really slipped, no reason to go back with so many excellent ones around these days!
We usually go to GVS breakfast buffet..sister received coupon for 2 for 1 so we tried Palms buffet..Very impressed with the selection..(except there wasn’t a salad bar) we will definitely be back.
My favorite Buffet here in Vegas!!! I live here in Vegas the best…Love it.
