If you haven’t yet decided on a viewing spot for the Super Bowl, here’s a quick round-up of some of the bigger public parties in town:
As it’s done all year, South Point will have a big bash in its showroom that will be extended to the Grand Ballroom for the game. Admission is free and there will be $1 dogs along with other food and drink specials.
The Westgate is once again Football Central with food and drink specials available throughout the casino and there’ll be a special appearance by NFL legend, Bob Griese. Reserved seating is available at the Westgate National Theater for $100 per seat. Tickets include all-you-can-eat and drink.
Head over to the Golden Nugget for the Football Super Bash! Parties will be held at Troy, Rush Lounge, and The Tank. Packages are $250 and include one bottle of your choice of Stoli, Crown Royal, or Patron, plus two buckets of Bud Light.
SLS will have casino-wide viewing parties paired with an open bar and hosted food packages available at Umami Burger, Beer Garden & Sports Book, Center Bar, and The Sayers Club.
The House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay has an a la carte all-you-can-eat menu featuring tailgate chili, chicken and waffles, cannoli tacos, and more for $70, or for an additional $75 ($145 total) you can get the all-you-can-drink package as well, which includes all well liquors, domestic beer, house wine, and soda.
Aliante will offer game day viewing parties, with drink specials and all-you-can-eat football fare throughout the property. Starting at 2 p.m., you can get an all-you-can-eat taco bar at The Salted Lime or an all-you-can-eat tailgate buffet at the ETA Lounge, each is $20 per person.
All Boyd Casinos, including Jokers Wild and the Eldorado in Henderson, will have food and drink specials throughout the casino.
The Big Game viewing party at the Plaza Hotel will be held in the Convention Hall and includes a stadium-style buffet, open bar, and sports memorabilia for purchase. Tickets are $150.
Do the Big Game Crawl at the Silverton for $50 where you can enjoy all-you-can-eat and bottomless Miller Lite at the Shady Grove Lounge, the Mermaid Lounge, and the Mi Casa Grill Cantina. Or splurge a little and spend $100 for the Premium Open Bar, which includes the top-shelf brands and all-you-can-eat from each of the participating bars/lounges.
Of course, all of the sports books will be hopping along with many of the local bars, including bars that regularly back both teams. For the Patriots, that’s the Old Vegas Tavern (3850 E. Desert Inn Rd.) and for the Eagles it’s Madison Avenue (855 E. Twain Ave.) and Torrey Pines Pub (6374 W. Lake Mead Blvd.). Home Plate has a $20 matchplay all day, along with prize giveaways and food and drink specials.
