Christmas in Vegas 2021

Las Vegas puts on quite a show for the holidays — and not just New Year’s Eve. Christmas arrives with enough holiday cheer to go around for the hundreds of thousands of visitors who show up for it, including trees lit on every inch, ice-skating rinks overlooking the Strip, Santa villages, life-size gingerbread houses, winterfests, magical forests, carolers, and of course, spiked egg nog. Here’s a sampling of what’s on offer.

The Ice Rink at Cosmopolitan

Nov 16-Jan 2, Hours vary

Each holiday season, the Boulevard Pool is transformed into a winter wonderland located high above the Las Vegas Strip. Enjoy skating, fire pits, warm cocktails, and light snow showers which occur every  30 minutes.

Tinsel Town – Top Golf

Nov 26-Dec 27

The Birdie Bar at Top Golf will transform into Tinsel Town – a holiday-themed bar celebrating all things merry and bright with festive decorations, multiple areas for fun photo ops, a featured drink, and dessert, and a show-stopping gingerbread house of the four-level venue assembled onsite by a local pastry chef.

Winter Wonderland – Fashion Show Mall

Nov 26-Dec 24, 3 p.m.-7 p.m.

Greeted by a snowy bliss, guests will walk into a room filled with white trees, falling snow, ice sculptures, and the sounds and smells of winter. 

Holiday Glow

Nov 26-Dec 24, Fri-Sun

Live Show: 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m.-5 p.m.

A high fashion musical showcase featuring your favorite holiday characters.

Santa

Step inside an illuminated tree-lined village filled with extraterrestrial surprises, including a festive path of igloos with Insta-worthy holiday vignettes, an intergalactic art sleigh illuminated by hundreds of twinkling lights, pop-up retailers, and much more!

Santa at The District – Green Valley Ranch

Merry Crimson – Red Rock Casino

Nov 26-Jan 2, Thurs-Sun,5 p.m.

Experience a festive indoor and outdoor poolside lounge with over-the-top holiday decor and a candy-cane swing and fireplace. And don’t miss the gingerbread replica of the resort in the middle of the casino floor.

Mystic Falls Park Winter Wonderland- Sam’s Town

Nov 24-Jan 1

Laser Light Show performances run every hour between  2 p.m. and 10 p.m.

During the Holiday Season, Mystic Falls transforms into a Winter Wonderland with festive garland streams, snow-covered lampposts, and more than 50 glimmering trees adorned in lights. Watch snow fall from above as light images and shooting water dance to holiday music.

Scuba Santa – Silverton

Sat & Sun in Dec, noon-1:15 p.m. and 2 p.m.-3:15 p.m.

Watch Santa Claus dressed up in scuba gear submerged in Silverton’s aquarium swimming with sharks, stingrays, and tropical fish.

Holidays at Townsquare

Nov 20-Dec 24

Get ready for the holiday season throughout Town Square. Children and families are invited to experience the 45-foot Christmas tree and snow in the Square, and Santa. Reservations are required for photos with Santa.

Ho, Ho, Ho! Santa’s Experience – Tivoli Village

Nov 26-Dec 30, Mon-Fri, 6 p.m.-10 p.m.; Sat & Sun, noon-10 p.m.

$20 adults/$10 children 12 and under

Walk through a winter wonderland at Santa’s Experience with a visit with Santa at the end of the tour! Santa’s Experience includes everything from a visit to the North Pole, complete with reindeer, a gingerbread house, Santa’s workshop, a candy factory, nutcrackers, and more!

Holiday Cactus Garden – Ethel M Chocolate Factory

Experience the Holiday Cactus Garden with over half a million twinkling lights, Christmas lights, chocolate houses, and sculptures, and demonstrations of Ethel M’s chocolate creations.

Enchant Christmas, The Great Search

Las Vegas Ballpark

Celebrate the holidays with the cherished tradition of the Magical Forest at Opportunity Village! The Magical Forest is a Winter Wonderland filled with millions of twinkling lights, nightly entertainment, and delicious food. Ride the Forest Express passenger train, take a spin on the Carousel, and visit Santa.

Rock Rink

Don’t miss the fun at the Rock Rink with its 8,000 square foot skating rink near the Pavilion at the Lawn. Skate to the backdrop of holiday music and a 40 foot Christmas tree overlooking the rink. Ride the festive holiday train circling the rink through Jan 17th. Rides are $4.00.

Holiday Parade

Nov 19-Dec 18, 6 p.m.

The holiday parade includes floats, snowflake princesses and princes, dancers, toy soldiers, nutcrackers, drummers, dancers, characters throughout the streets of Downtown, and festive music.

Santa Chalet

Nov 19-Dec 24

Santa’s Chalet is located in Macy’s Promenade creating a festive environment for children and adults. Photo packages start at $99.99. Santa offers photos with pets on Tues through Dec 21 between 7 p.m.-9 p.m.

Glittering Lights – Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Nov 12-Jan 9, 5:30 p.m.-10 p.m 

Mon-Thurs, $25/Fri-Sun, Holidays and Dec, $35

Glittering Lights is Nevada’s largest holiday drive-through light show with millions of twinkling lights along a 2.5-mile course. Enjoy custom twinkling lights, never-before-seen lights, and some old favorites.

Winterfest – Water Street Plaza

Take in the sights and sounds of the season while experiencing all that Water Street has to offer.  Enjoy pictures with Santa, craft and food vendors, live entertainment, and a spectacular evening light parade. WinterFest is open to all ages, from the young to the young at heart.

Take a ride on the new BC Santa Express 2021 where guests will experience the magic of the holidays on board and in our Santa’s Railyard event center, pajamas optional. Each event is a 90-minute experience with a train ride in a vintage, restored railcar with storytime on the train, including time at our event center to visit Santa and enjoy hot chocolate and a cookie, by Chilly Jilly’z.

Coke Zero “Cool Yule” at The Park

Twinkling lights, festive décor, strolling Santas and acapella carolers greet visitors and locals at Coke Zero “Cool Yule” at The Park. As guests wander through, they’ll also encounter breakdancing elves and live music. Five holiday-themed specialty drinks will also be served at Beerhaus and the Coke Zero Holiday Bar.

Shark Reef Aquarium: Santa in the Shipwreck – Mandalay Bay

Dec 18-24, Open daily from 10 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

Adults: $29 (timed entry) and $39 (anytime tickets). Children 3 and under: Complimentary

Santa Claus steers his sleigh from the North Pole to Las Vegas to find out who’s been naughty and nice during the annual Santa in the Shipwreck at Shark Reef Aquarium inside Mandalay Bay. From December 20-24, Santa will put on a SCUBA suit and plunge into the shipwreck exhibit to wave farewell alongside his underwater friends before going back to his elves and reindeer for the week. Jolly St. Nick will also have a little help this year from a rather large and toothy holiday helper, Santa Jaws, from December 18-24. Throughout the day, Santa Jaws will happily “swim” by to join the kiddies for a photo. With each paid admission, children 12 and under will receive a complimentary green screen photograph with Santa. The Shark Reef Aquarium features more than 2,000 animals, including sharks, giant rays, endangered green sea turtles, piranhas and a Komodo dragon, as well as the Undersea Explorer VR Theater.

Conservatory & Botanical Gardens: “Holiday Time” – Bellagio

The Conservatory & Botanical Gardens at Bellagio celebrates the holidays with a festive “Holiday Time” display. The family-friendly attraction has once again turned into a winter wonderland full of delights featuring seasonal favorites such as polar bears, thousands of fresh poinsettias, and a tree decorated with thousands of ornaments and warm white lights. The display also features a 24-foot holiday tree and a snowy cabin surrounded by arctic foxes, polar bears, and baby seals.

Festive Holiday Display – Aria

A cheery display has arrived at ARIA Resort & Casino with fun and flavorful pastry masterpieces designed to delight audiences of all ages. Guests will be wowed by a life-sized gingerbread man, a donut tower, sugar-filled candy canes, an overflowing cup of hot cocoa, ice cream cones and snowflakes, all made entirely of chocolate, sugar and fondant.
