Cinco de Mayo – 2018

Las Vegas traditionally goes BIG for Cinco de Mayo and this year’s no exception, so expect celebratory tequila-and-taco deals all over town. What follows are some of the more notable fiestas we’ve come across, on and off the Strip.

 

Parties & Restaurants

 Cabo Wabo Cinco de Mayo Fiesta – Planet Hollywood

Cabo Wabo is celebrating with drink specials and live music during their annual Cinco de Mayo party. Drink specials include Cabo flight, three sample shots of different Cabo Wabo tequilas, including Blanco, Reposado and Anejo for $24 and a full menu of signature drinks, including the CW Margarita made with Cabo Wabo tequila and Grand Mariner for $13. Music starts at noon.

Beer Park – Paris

Beer Park is throwing a rooftop fiesta featuring live music, margaritas, and oversized yard games. Starts at 7 p.m. with tequila samples, food specials, and drink specials like the Grand Slam Peacharita for $11 and margy pitchers for $44.

The LINQ Promenade

The LINQ is hosting a full-on fiesta for Cinco de Mayo with entertainment by the nine-piece Mariachi band Viajero, accompanied by traditional Mariachi dancers. There will be street tacos, Mexican-style corn, and margarita specials.

Tequila Mania – The Park

Cinco De Mayo at The Park means Tequila Mania, a two-day outdoor fiesta set for May 4-5. From noon to 8 p.m. enjoy live Mariachi bands, traditional folk dancers, and a variety of drinks and bites, some from the Don Julio Truck.

Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar – LINQ

Chayo Mexican Kitchen +Tequila Bar celebrates Cinco de Mayo with mechanical bull rides, a live DJ, Mexican snacks, and drink specials, including 2-for-1 Chayo margaritas.

Tacos & Tequila – Luxor

Celebrate at Tacos & Tequila inside Luxor with dancing, live entertainment, and food and drink specials. Jessa Hinton from Tosh.0 and Baywatch will be hosting the celebration.

SLS

Umami Burger, Beer Garden & Sports Book will offer a five-bottle mix-and-match Mexican beer bucket for $17; Mexican beer and a Cazadores Reposado tequila shot special for $7; and classic margaritas for $6.

The Center Bar and Monkey Bar will offer the Smoked Piña cocktail ($9), Mexican beer and a Cazadores Reposado tequila shot ($7), and classic margaritas for $6.

Plaza Hotel

Party Under the Dome at the Plaza with Lucha Libre wrestling, a Mariachi band playing live music, folklórico dancers, a live DJ, authentic food & drink specials, and downtown’s largest piñata.

Gold Spike

Gold Spike celebrates Cinco de Mayo with a taco truck, live Mariachi band, a tequila Limbo contest, y mucho mas. Drink specials 1-9 p.m. include $4 draft Modelo Especial, Negro Modelo, Pacifico, and Corona Light, $6 tequila shots, and $5 bottles of Dos Equis, Corona, and Corona Premier. Festivities begin at 1 p.m.

El Tiempo Cinco de Mayo – Cannery

Head over to the Cannery on May 5 from 5  to 9 p.m. for the El Tiempo Cinco de Mayo. Festivities include live Mariachi music, Lucha Libre wrestling, food trucks, and more. Admission is free.

Border Grill – Caesars, Mandalay Bay

Border Grill Cinco fiesta will include Mariachi, live entertainment, games, giveaways, and more. There will be Mexican beer buckets for $25 and $8 margaritas.

Pink Taco – Hard Rock

The Pink Taco celebrates with taco carts, a tequila ice luge, adult snow cones, beer pong, and a Mariachi band. The first to finish a free taco-eating contest wins a T-shirt and gift certificate.

Baja Miguel’s – South Point

Celebrate Cinco De Mayo all weekend long (May 4-6) at Baja Miguel’s Restaurant and tequila bar with five authentic food specials for $15.55 and $5 drink specials, including any Mexican beer, specialty or standard margaritas, Miguel’s mojito, or house wine.

Mi Casa Grill Cantina – Silverton

Celebrating with all you can eat and drink for $30 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Michoacan Restaurant

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. with special Cinco events, performances, giveaways, and more.

Pancho’s Mexican Restaurant

An all-day fiesta features Mariachis, live sports-talk radio, appearances by former NFL players, traditional Mexican food, and tequila shot specials on Saturday May 5. A Mariachi band will play traditional Mexican music for partygoers from noon until 5 p.m. Available throughout the restaurant, guests can enjoy Pancho’s Patrón Barrel Select Reposado shots($6.95). The fiesta will continue throughout the night with live music in the cantina by Siana King, beginning at 7 p.m.

Park & Pool Festivities

Pet-a-Palooza Cinco de Mayo – Sunset Park

Enjoy Pet-a-Palooza Cinco de Mayo at Sunset Park on May 5 starting at 10 a.m. Bring your pet, listen to music, enjoy great food, and shop for you and your pet.

Dia de la Cerveza, Cinco de Mayo Beer Festival – Container Park

It’s a fiesta at Downtown Container Park for Dia de la Cerveza, a Cinco de Mayo beer festival. Enjoy all-you-can-drink cerveza, live music, food, and shopping specials. Oak and Ivy will have a special $6 tequila shot bar. Admission is $25 on May 5, 5 -8 p.m.

 Tacos & Tequila Pool Party – Golden Nugget

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Golden Nugget’s Taco & Tequila Pool Party at the Main Pool Deck, May 5 from 8 to 11 p.m. Enjoy tacos, tequila, beer, and live music while sitting poolside. Entry fee $65.

Rehab Beach Club – Hard Rock

Join the fun at Rehab Beach Club’s Cinco de Mayo celebration with live music, a taco-eating contest, and drink specials.

Foxtail Pool – SLS

Foxtail Pool offers a fiesta cabana package, which includes a bottle of Patrón, 12-pack of Corona, and chips and salsa, priced at $350. Additional specials include classic margaritas ($6), shots of Cazadores Reposado tequila ($4), and street tacos served with a choice of beer or soda ($9.95). Specialty $3 street tacos and $8.95 nachos will also be available at the poolside self-service window from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Poolside music by DJ Five on Friday May 4 and Saturday May 5 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Ready, Set, Cinco! Pool Party – Planet Hollywood

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo all weekend long. Entertainment includes DJ’s, Party Patrol Dancers, Corona and Modelo bucket specials, and blend-your-own Patron margarita on the official margarita bike.

Cinco de Mayo After Hours Pool Party – Artisan

All Access Vegas will be partying all night at the toptional pool. There will be an afterhours pool party from May 5 at 7 p.m. to May 6 at 3 a.m. Make sure you bring your swimsuits and get ready to celebrate the holiday all night long. Free admission.

Cowabunga Bay

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Cowabunga Bay May 5-6 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fiesta festivities include a Mariachi band, traditional dancers, DJ, plus free face painting and balloon animals. Roasted street corn, taco food truck, and margaritas are available for purchase. Admission is $19.99 with special coupon from local participating La Bonita Supermarkets.
