If you were asked to sketch the first thing that came to your mind about Las Vegas, what would it be?
Netcredit.com, sponsor of the “United States of Doodles,” asked 100 Americans to imagine 12 of the most popular travel destinations in the country and draw the first thing that came into their heads. The recruited doodlers used the “Sketch” app to doodle an icon for each city in no more than two minutes and without using Google for any ideas.
The dozen destinations included Alaska, Austin, TX, Florida, Chicago, the Grand Canyon, Hawaii, Hollywood, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and of course our very own Las Vegas. The results are 12 alternative travel posters that reveal the America that U.S. citizens carry in their minds.
