Memorial Day Las Vegas 2019

Memorial Day Weekend is definitely one of the busier holiday weekends in Las Vegas and this year is no different. Below, you’ll find a small overview of just some of the events taking place around the valley.

Pool Parties:

 

Jemaa — NoMad Pool Party at Park MGM

The Memorial Day weekend pool party’s guests include SoSuperSam (5/24), Quest Love (5/25), and Mark Ronson (5/26). Prices are $20 for ladies and $30 for men. Hours are Fri.-Sun. 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

 

Pool Party — Drai’s at The Cromwell, Friday May 24, 1-4 p.m.

Start the Memorial Day weekend off with a rare opportunity to attend a free pool party at Drai’s. Early arrival is strongly suggested.

 

KAOS — Palms, May 26-27

The biggest pool party in Vegas features Armin Van Buuren on Sun. May 26 from 11 a.m.  to 5:30 p.m. and Kascade on Mon. from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Both events are free, but you must register in advance with Eventbrite.

 

Matinee Las Vegas Festival — Hard Rock and Artisan, May 24-27

This major gay dance festival hosts five main parties: Friday Night, Saturday Pool, Saturday WaterPark, Sunday Pool, and Sunday Main Event. Get ready for new venues, new experiences, and new host hotels at the Hard Rock and Artisan.

 

Citrus Pool — Downtown Grand, May 25-27

H20, The Pietasters, and Sloppy Seconds headline the Citrus Pool. Bands play from noon to 2 p.m. each day, with DJs starting at 11 a.m.

 

Sway Pool — Silverton, May 25-27

Admission is free for locals 21+ top party with DJs, food and drink specials, and drawings and door prizes. Open 11 a.m.-4 p.m. There’s also a craft show at the Veil Pavilion on May 25-26 with artists, vendors, and prize drawings. This event is free.

 

Wet ’n’ Wild — May 24-26

Wet ’n’ Wild kicks off the summer with a weekend-long event including dive-in movies, a foam party, DJs, live music, and food. The Memorial Day Buffet is available for $13.99 adults, $10.99 children 10 and under.

 

Wet ’n’ Wild will honor armed forces with a special ticket offer May 18-27. Guest with a valid military ID will receive one free general-admission ticket and may purchase up to six discounted general-admission tickets for $19.99 each.

Festivals and Entertainment:

 

Downtown Rocks — Fremont Street, May 24, 9 p.m.

Head to Fremont Street Experience for a free concert performance by Good Charlotte.

 

Koi Ultra Lounge — Planet Hollywood, May 25-26, $20

Koi Ultra Lounge teams up with Three Square Food Bank for Dance Out Hunger 2019. Raffles to raise funds include dining and nightlife packages, show tickets, and collectibles.

 

Craft + Community — Hard Rock, May 24-26

Live entertainment, specials on craft beers, and chef-curated eats are available all weekend long.

 

Fireworks — Lake Las Vegas, May -25-26

Lake Las Vegas is having a pancake breakfast, live music, pet parade, and fireworks over the Lake on May 26 at 9 p.m. Admission is free with food and drinks available for purchase.

 

Best Dam Barbeque Challenge — Boulder City, May 24-25

The Best Dam Barbecue Challenge in Boulder City features award-winning barbecue and festival food, vendors, family zone, rib-eating contest, car show, live music, and a KidsQue grilling competition. Admission is free.

 

Memorial Day Walk to Remember — Cadence Central Park, May 27, 9 a.m.-noon

On Mon. May 27, more than 20,000 runners and walkers around the world will become a living memorial to America’s fallen heroes. The event will begin with a Circle of Remembrance where the name of each military member is called out. Participants will be provided with the name of an American serviceman or woman who died in battle. Walkers will receive a unique bib to the name of the service member whom they honor with their steps.

 

 

Military Discounts:

 

Crazy Horse lll

May is Military Appreciation Month at the Crazy Horse lll. Service members are invited to “Boobie Camp” parties where they can enjoy a complimentary beer or cocktail with a valid military ID.

 

Beer Park — Paris

Beer Park is offering cheap beer throughout the month of May. Active and retired military service members receive a 10% discount off of their choice of beer.

 

Memorial Day Free Buffet For Two — South Point, May 27

All active and veteran military personnel and one guest are entitled to a free breakfast with bottomless Bloody Marys, lunch, or dinner. Must show military ID to the cashier.
