Memorial Day Weekend 2017

Memorial Day Weekend is definitely one of the busier holiday weekends in Las Vegas and this year is no different. Below, you’ll find a small overview of just some of the events taking place around the valley.

 

Pool Parties:

Chateau Nightclub & Rooftop – Paris

May 27, $20 ladies/$30 men

The pool at Paris will celebrate Memorial Day weekend with an all-night party hosted by Beastie Boys DJ, Mix Master Mike.

 

Sway Pool – Silverton

May 27-29, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., locals (21+) free

Featuring live DJs and food and drink specials.

 

Bikini Kush Mansion Pool Party – Artisan

May 27, 1-10 p.m., $50-$3,000 (tickets must be purchased from Eventbrite; tickets from other websites will not be honored.)

This party will showcase topless go-go dancers, cannabis vendors from Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Denver, and New Mexico, food by street vendor “All Flavor No Grease,” and special-guest live performances, raffles, and more.

 

Club 27’s 27-Hour Pool Party – Artisan

May 27 11 p.m.-May 29 6 a.m., $24.65 (tickets must be purchased from Eventbrite; tickets from other websites will not be honored.)

This party starts on Saturday May 27 at 11 p.m. both inside the main room and the outdoor patio (pool opens 3 a.m. Sunday morning and goes nonstop until Monday at 6 a.m.). Bring comfortable attire to enjoy yourself for 27 hours over Memorial Day weekend. Trade your printed receipt or ticket for your wristband at the door.

 

GO Pool – Flamingo

May 27, doors open at 9 a.m.

DJ Koko and Bayati, along with resident DJ Eric Forbes, will start the party at noon. 

 

Pool Party – Palazzo Aquatic Club

May 28

Enjoy free admission, live entertainment, and drink tickets from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and an open Mimosa Bar 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

 

Temptation Sundays – Luxor

May 28, 1-7 p.m.

Temptation Sundays celebrate its 8th summer at Luxor. Memorial Sunday features an afternoon in the pool, with cocktails and music from LGBT DJs. This event is 21+.
Festivals & Entertainment:

Rock the Street – Downtown Las Vegas

May 27, 7 p.m. (21+); May 28, 4 p.m. (all ages) Admission is free both nights, but is first-come first-served.

Downtown Grand presents Rock the Street at the new Downtown 3rd Street concert venue. Vince Neil will play all the hits from his band Mötley Crüe on Saturday. Gates open at 7 p.m. Tribute Nation takes over on Sunday, starring Pyromania, Trinity, and Faux Fighters performing the all-time favorites from Def Leppard, Journey, Styx, Foreigner, and Foo Fighters.

 

13th Annual Best Dam Barbecue Challenge – Boulder City

May 26, 4-10 p.m.; May 27, 9 a.m.-6 p.m., free admission

This is a professional-level barbecue cook-off and family event.

 

8th Annual Las Vegas Brews & Blues Festival – Springs Preserve 

May 27, 4-8 p.m., $35 in advance (online), $40 at the door, $5 off for Springs Preserve members

Enjoy a day at the Springs Preserve, taste beers from around the world, and listen to some live music.

 

Military Discounts:

As part of Operation Thank You, Station Casinos is hosting a special Military Mondays promotion, with discounts such as 2-for-1 dining, drink specials, free coffee, matchplay coupons, ½-point bingo and bowling specials, and much more. This includes all Station Casinos properties: Red Rock, Palace Station, Sunset Station, Texas Station, Green Valley Ranch, Boulder Station, and Santa Fe Station.

 

Hooters is giving out free meals for military members and veterans that include a choice of entrées such as wings, sandwiches, salads, and burgers.

 

Veterans and active military members can get a free lunch or dinner from McCormick & Schmick’s on Memorial Day; no purchase necessary.
