St. Patrick’s Day in Las Vegas 2018

Las Vegas tends to go big when it comes to St. Paddy’s Day celebrations and this year is no exception. The green beer will be flowing all over town through the weekend, but here are some of the highlights.

 

Downtown:

 

Fremont Street Experience

March 15-18, Free

The four-day celebration will include live entertainment from 19 bands on three stages (many Celtic-themed), strolling flash mobs, bagpipes, and a preview of Cirque’s new show Sticky Sweet. Lyft is offering $10 off rides for all users.

 

Sham-Rock The Park Beer Festival – Downtown Container Park

March 17, 3 p.m.-6 p.m., $15

All-you-can-drink craft beer includes a special green beer on tap. Jameson Whisky Bar is offering $5 shot specials. Live music by Empire Records!

 

Hogs & Heifers

March 17, 10:30 a.m.

Hogs & Heifers is hosting its annual Las Vegas Valley Firefighters Parade & Skills Challenge on 3rd Street. At noon, the parade moves from Fremont and Main down Fremont to 3rd Street, culminating at Hogs & Heifers for the firefighter competition. There will be fire trucks on display, Irish dancers, Honor Guards, a Jameson Irish Whiskey ice luge, and more.

 

Vegas Beer and Music Festival by Rock Star Beer Festivals, Downtown Events Lot

March 17, 6 p.m.-10 p.m., $30 GA/$45 VIP

A walk-around indoor-outdoor nighttime event where guests have access to complimentary samples of over 70 craft beers. Live music from Offspring Tribute, Pop Punk Mayhem, and DJs. Multiple food trucks will also be in attendance.

 

Green Fireworks – Plaza Hotel

March 17, 7 p.m.

Plaza Hotel & Casino celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with green fireworks at 10 p.m. and a dome party starting at 7 p.m.

 

Gold Spike – Get Lucky: St. Patrick’s Day Bash

March 17-18

Giveaways, live music, $3 green PBR drafts, $5 Jameson shots, $6 Black & Tan or Guinness drafts, corned-beef specials, and more.

 

Hennessey’s Tavern – Fremont Street

March 15, 7 p.m., $20; March 16-17, Free

The St. Patrick’s Pub Crawl kicks off at 7 p.m. on March 15. $20 gets you 6 drinks at 6 bars: Hennessey’s Tavern, Mickie Finnz, The D, Evil Pie, Banger Brewing, and the Nerd. On March 16-17 is the St. Patrick’s Day Outdoor Music Fest, featuring music by the JV All Stars, Arms of America, and Stoked.

 

Commonwealth

March 17, noon-4 p.m., $50

Commonwealth offers a hosted open bar from noon to 4 p.m., featuring well drinks and draft beers, with live performances from local DJs. Commonwealth opens for general admission at 4 p.m., with a performance from the Rayford Bros. band from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

 

Strip:

 

Celtic Feis – New York New York

March 17, 10:30 a.m.

The celebration starts with a parade led by the Las Vegas Pipe Band and continues with live music on the Brooklyn Bridge and at the Nine Fine Irishmen pub. Drink specials and Irish fare available.

 

O’Sheas Bloq Party – The LINQ Hotel & Casino

March 17, noon

The day of festivities kicks off with a leprechaun parade along the LINQ Promenade to O’Sheas, followed by live music, bagpipers, stilt walkers, and more. Admission is free and drink specials, including green beer, and Irish whiskey, will be available.

 

RÍ RÁ – Mandalay Bay

March 17, starting at 5:30 a.m.

Enjoy performances from Irish Dancers and Bagpipers throughout the day and feast on some great Irish fare with their special St. Patrick’s Day menu.

 

Beer Park – Paris

March 17

Beer Park celebrates with green beer, corned-beef sandwiches, and Irish fare the entire day. The party goes from 9 p.m. until close with a live DJ.

 

Cabo Wabo – Miracle Mile Shops

Cabo Wabo becomes the ultimate St. Patrick’s Day party spot with live music and specials on food and drinks. Drink specials include green beer ($7) and beer buckets filled with select imported and domestic beers ($23).

 

Off-Strip:

 

McFadden’s at Town Square

March 17, 11 a.m.

Irish fare will be served all day long and drink specials include $4 green beers, $5 shots of Jameson, $6 Guinness pints, and $7 Irish Car Bombs. There will also be a Build Your Own Green Bikini Contest for ladies with a chance to win $500 in cash and prizes.

 

Remedy’s and Distill

Celebrate St. Paddy’s Day at all six locations, with costume contests ($100 prize) and food and drink specials, including green beer, homemade corned beef & cabbage for $11.99, 16-oz. Guinness drafts for $4, Jameson shots for $4, and Irish Car Bombs for $5.

 

Due & Proper – The District

Due & Proper hosts a patio BBQ party complete with a live DJ, Irish festivities, whiskey, beer, and cocktails from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Specials include Guinness drafts ($5) and beer and shot combos with Guinness and Hennessy ($8).

 

Brews Best St. Patrick’s Day at Downtown Summerlin

March 17, 2 p.m.-7 p.m., $30/$40

Celebrating its 11th year, Brew’s Best Craft Beer Festival is the longest running open-air beer festival in southern Nevada. The Lawn at Downtown Summerlin will host an afternoon of unlimited samples from local and national breweries. All participants receive a souvenir tasting glass and tasting guide.

 

St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival – Henderson Events Plaza

March 16-18

Enjoy green-clad Irish floats, live Irish music and dancers, a classic car show, an Irish whiskey tasting contest, and carnival rides.

 

Sean Patrick’s Irish Pub – Multiple Locations

March 17

Stop by any of the four locations to pick up your free T-shirt and enjoy featured drink specials from PT’s Brewing, Guinness, Bud Light, and Jameson. You can also pick up some extra points while you’re there: Gold, Royal and Royal Elite receive 10X points and Bronze and Silver receive 5X points.

 

J.C. Wooloughan – Rampart

March 17, Free

The pub is back for one day only, March 17, 2018, with live entertainment featuring Finnegan’s Wake and Holes & Heart starting at 1 pm. There will be Irish pub-style food and drink specials, Jameson & Guinness girls, and lots of games and giveaways.
