Despite some recent "de-theming," the Luxor pyramid (and its famous light beam) remains one of the most iconic landmarks on the Las Vegas Strip, with "inclinators" (elevators that rise at a 35-degree angle) and a free tram to both Excalibur and Mandalay Bay. Rooms provide one king or two queen beds, flat-screen TVs, and oversized showers. One of Las Vegas' LGBT-friendly resorts, the Luxor features some of the more unusual hotel amenities, including a (paid) baggage check-in/delivery service and a photographer offering custom in-room boudoir shoots, while tee times may be booked via the hotel at any of Las Vegas' three Walters golf courses. Part of the M Life players club, the casino includes a poker room, race and sports book, and high-limit area.
