This applies to playing poker, and gambling as well… Sometimes I get really frustrated and I have to try to look at the big picture. The losing is easier to take when I am talking to friends or just people at the table, the new plexiglass barriers are great for virus protection, but they suck for social interaction. Someday I will get good enough at playing cards to adapt to my golf default: I never beat myself up for golf, its just too freaking hard of a game, the closest I come is missing a short putt for the money, that stings hard…
I lost my job and career after the Bush v. Gore decision, replaced by a Texas friend of the incoming President. After a week or two I stopped whining and was doing something unrelated to politics within a few months. Nothing excuses these jerks who literally want to burn the White House and everything good about the country on the way out.
