That’s what Lt. Castillo (the one, the only, the awesomeness that is Edward James Olmos) would say of the situation at Palms Casino Resort, which has spent the Joseph Magliarditi administration spiraling into disrepute. (Trouble at a Magliarditi-run casino? Shocking!) According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal‘s lightning-fast Chris Sieroty, multiple arrests are “imminent” in a prostitution-and-drugs case that will cost the Palms over $1 million in fines. Had TPG Capital and Leonard Green not purchased N9ne Group and rolled it into FP Holdings, N9ne would be getting escorted off the property by the Nevada Gaming Control Board immediately, if not sooner. Although low-level ‘rogue employees’ will probably be thrown to Las Vegas Metro, it will be interesting to see how high the scandal rises if any of them roll on their bosses. For a situation of this gravity to have metastasized at the Palms, management would have to be bloody incompetent at best or, giving it the benefit of the doubt, simply turning a blind eye to the problem.
R.I.P., Eastern Cougar. We hardly knew ye until it was too late. Give our regards to the Passenger Pigeon.

Hookers and blow…..
Wait, isn’t that basically what Vegas sells as its world image?
