Every Sunday and on Monday and Thursday nights during football season, the following bars fill up with former residents of, or current visitors from, the teams’ hometowns. Many offer food and drink specials that sometimes include cuisine from back home. The combination of lots of people rooting for the same team and everyone being from the same place makes for a super-charged atmosphere in most cases. In fact, these are often the best venues for viewing the games (when that bar’s team is playing), even if you aren’t from that city.
