Although Casino Royale had some of the surliest dealers, it was probably one of the most fun places to play craps. The excitement was electric for beginners and veterans. Is there any talk of bringing back table games there as the casino has lost its vibe since going all slots.
In the past five or six years, seven major Las Vegas/Henderson casinos have removed all their traditional live-dealer table games: Arizona Charlie's Boulder (2019), Casino Royale (2020), Tuscany (2021), Silver Sevens, The Pass, and Railroad Pass (2024), and Golden Gate (2025). Of those seven, Tuscany (2023) and Silver Sevens (2026) have brought them back.
Slots A Fun also brought back their table games in 2024, 13 years after closing them in 2011.
When the Pass removed its table games in January 2024, it was last downtown Henderson casino to eliminate live tables.
Casino Royale removed its live table games during the COVID shutdown and hasn't reinstated them. The property's official website describes the pit as "temporarily closed" and advises visitors to "stay tuned for further updates." But we're going on six years since that message was posted and there's been no public discussion, news, or social-media chatter about bringing back the table games.
Given the trend to remove them in favor of electronic tables and "dealer-assist" stadium games, along with recent speculation that the whole joint might be replaced entirely, we tend to doubt that the Elardis, who own Casino Royale, will be investing in reviving the tables.
