You want bars and lounges? Las Vegas has sports bars, video poker bars, music bars, Tiki bars, dive bars, nudie bars, microbreweries, trendy hangouts, old-Vegas lounges, neighborhood taverns, and more. Some familiar national chains include BW3, and for local chains try PTs pubs and Big Dog’s Brewing Company. There are even designated bars for most NFL teams, where hometown fans gather to watch the games.
Best of all are the only-in-Vegas places like Atomic Liquors, the Peppermill’s Fireside Lounge, and the Double Down Saloon, to name just a few. You could spend a week or two just exploring the downtown/Fremont East district.
And most of these places never close.
The old Las Vegas lounges are gone. Sinatra, Sammy, and Elvis have all left the building (and the buildings have left the city). But it’s not all Cirque du Soliel, either. Check out the late-night lounges where talented entertainers, some famous and some known only locally, perform for free. You might even run into famous performers doing karaoke in their spare time.
Whatever you’re looking for, you’ll find it, and the LVA listings are here to help. Happy hunting.
